Food Pantry
Food Donations
West Valley Community Services distributes food from our food pantry everyday to low-income individuals and families.
Acceptable donation items include: boxes of cereal, oatmeal, pop-top canned food items (fruits, vegetables, meat, etc.), pop top fruits, fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, flour, sugar, oil, condiments, salad dressings, and so on. We can only accept non-perishable, new or unopened food. Due to health standards, we cannot accept prepared foods or foods leftover from parties or events.
Interested in hosting a food drive? Food drives are a great way to get to know your community, teach children about hunger and homelessness, and provide a healthy meal for someone in need. For more information about how to run a food drive, please click here!
If you have overflowing fruit trees, give Village Harvest a call! Village Harvest will pick the fruit for you and bring it to us!
You can drop off food during normal office hours Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays only we are open until 8pm. If you have any questions, please contact Tricia Uyeda, Director of Operations at (408) 255-8033 ext 102 or triciau@wvcommunityservices.org. If you would like to host a food drive, please contact Jacqueline de Guzman at (408) 255-8033 x305 or jacquelined@wvcommunityservices.org.
